As a level 3 AET qualified educator, I offer ABT accredited training in small groups to cater to all abilities. Whether you are a beginner looking to start a career as nail technician, or you are already qualified and wish to improve your nail art skills, learn how to safely use an e-file, add a new enhancement product to your list of treatments or improve your existing skill set with bespoke 1:1 training, I’m sure I will be able to offer a course to suit your needs.
As an industry professional, I keep up to date with the very latest nail technology, research and on-trend designs, regularly reading industry publications & completing additional training courses to ensure my knowledge is always current.

MANICURE
This course is aimed at complete beginners. By the end of the course, you will understand the following:
- THE NAIL – correct terminology, anatomy, what’s inside & what can penetrate the nail plate
- CHEMISTRY – what chemicals, products & equipment we use, how they work & what their purposes are
- ALLERGIES & OVEREXPOSURE – what is meant by the term overexposure, what allergies are & how to avoid them
- RELEVANT LEGISLATION, COSHH & SDS – what we need to adhere to as nail professionals
- BACTERIA, VIRUSES & FUNGUS – what they are & how they are spread
- LEVELS OF DECONTAMINATION – sanitisation, disinfection & sterilisation
- CLIENT CONSULTATION – what we need to know about our clients & how we keep their data safe
- DAMAGE, CONTRA-ACTIONS, NAIL DISORDERS & CONTRAINDICATIONS – when can we treat & when should we refer to a GP
- MANICURE TECHNIQUES – shaping the nail, cuitcle prep & buffing
- MASSAGE – safety, products & the main 3 different movements
- NAIL POLISH & PAINTING – using nail laquer & including French manicure style

FOUNDATION PEDICURE
This course is suitable for beginners (after gaining a qualification in manicure) or qualified nail professionals looking to add pedicure to their treatments. By the end of the course you will understand the following:
- EXPECTATIONS – what should & should not be carried out during a pedicure
- EQUIPMENT – what equipment & products are required to carry out a pedicure
- ADDITIONAL THINGS TO LOOK OUT FOR – what additional conditions, disorders & contraindications to look out for
- PEDICURE TECHNIQUES – how to correctly carry out a pedicure, including foot soak, skin care, massage & nail painting
- AFTER CARE – what after care advice should be given
We will also revisit nail anatomy, chemistry, health & safety, avoiding allergies & contraindications

GEL POLISH
This course is suitable for beginners (after gaining a qualification in manicure) or qualified nail professionals looking to add gel polish to their treatments. By the end of the course you will understand the following:
- BENEFITS OF GEL POLISH – the benefits of gel polish over traditional nail polish
- NAIL PREP – how to safely prepare natural nails
- APPLICATION – how to safely apply gel polish
- MAINTENANCE – how to safely infill
- REMOVAL – how to safely remove gel polish
We will also revisit nail anatomy, chemistry, health & safety, avoiding allergies & contraindications

This course is suitable for qualified nail technicians looking to add builder gel to their treatments. By the end of the course you will understand the following:
- WHAT IT IS – what builder gel is, how it works & what the benefits are
- NAIL PREP – how to safely prepare the natural nail
- APPLICATION – how to safely & correctly apply builder gel, including correct apex placement, filing routines & shaping
- SCULPTING – how to correctly tailor and fit forms to different nail shapes
- MAINTENANCE – how to safely infill
- REMOVAL – how to safely remove
We will also revisit nail anatomy, chemistry, health & safety, avoiding allergies & contraindications
Conversion course
Minimum requirements: Qualifications in manicure, gel polish and one enhancement system i.e. acrygel, hard gel or acrylics.

ACRYGEL (POLYGEL)
This course is suitable for qualified nail technicians looking to add acrygel (polygel) to their treatments. By the end of the course you will understand the following:
- WHAT IT IS – what acrygel is, how it works & benefits over other enhancement systems
- NAIL PREP – how to safely prepare the natural nail
- APPLICATION – how to safely & correctly apply acrygel, including correct apex placement, filing routines & shaping
- SCULPTING – how to correctly tailor and fit forms to different nail shapes

E-FILE
This course is suitable for qualified nail technicians looking to learn how to safely & correctly use an e-file. By the end of the course you will understand the following:
- E-FILE USES – ways to use an e-file & what the benefits are
- COMPONENTS – what parts make up an e-file & why they are important
- BITS – the different types of bits & their purpose
- SPEED VS TORQUE – the difference between speed & torque & why it is important
- PPE & MAINTANCE – what PPE you should wear, how to correctly clean your equipment & why maintenance is important
- TECHNIQUE – how to use an e-file safely in all areas of work
We will also revisit nail anatomy, health & safety, avoiding allergies & contraindications.
